Report: The NBA May Return On July 31, And End Finals On October 12
Adrian Wojnarowski, ESPN's Senior NBA Insider, is reporting that the league's season will return as soon as July 31. In a series of tweets, Wojnarowski explains that per his source, the NBA's Board of Governors has a meeting tomorrow (June 3) to finalize plans to restart the season.
He also explains that although the league is still working through details, they are trying to model a 22-team format where each of the 22 teams will play eight regular-season games for seeding-purposes.

According to Sports Illustrated, when the NBA season resumes, all games will play in Orlando at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex. They add, "No fans will be permitted at games, and teams will likely have to bring a reduced number of employees to Orlando."
To recap, the NBA season was postponed on March 11 due to the coronavirus. The first two players to contract the virus were Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.
