In an effort to give Marlins' staffers their full salaries through at least May 31st, the team's executive officials are foregoing their own paychecks.

With the coronavirus causing the MLB to keep baseball season on hold, CEO Derek Jeter won't take his $5 million income.

With the league's termination of the Uniform Employee Contracts, starting on May 1st, the clubs can start furloughing coaches, front office workers, and scouts.

According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, several other teams have also committed to paying its employees until the end of next month, including the Red Sox, Giants, White Sox, Phillies, and Reds.
