Vera Bradley is the latest company to step up and provide support during the coronavirus pandemic. The brand just announced on their Facebook page that they would use their facilities to create medical-grade wearables for healthcare professionals.

Their statement says, "In an ongoing effort to do everything we can to help our communities, we are partnering with local health officials to support the doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals on the front lines with medical-grade face masks and wearables. Our goal is to produce as many needed items as possible per day."

They will also make masks for the general population. "Separately, and on a much smaller scale, we have started to manufacture non-medical face masks for the general population. We are currently working to distribute those through the most effective channels and recently added them to our site. We’ll continue to keep you posted on our progress. We can’t thank you enough for your support."

As of today, the non-medical masks are sold-out, but they explain that more will be available on their website as they keep making them.
