If Yoan Moncada appears to be smiling more, it's likely because he's got 70 million reasons to be happier.

The third baseman on Thursday signed a five-year contract extension with the White Sox, the team announced. The deal is worth a staggering $70 million. The contract also promises an additional $25 if the White Sox decide to keep Moncada on for a sixth year and a $5 million buyout, according to ESPN.

Moncada has been playing in Chicago for three seasons, during which he's hit 50 homers and 163 RBIs.
