The Lakers have a guard spot to fill on their roster now that they waived Troy Daniels.
Taking to Twitter after Sunday's move, Daniels called his time in Los Angeles a "pleasure" noting, "Absolutely one of the hardest decisions of my life. But it was best for ME..!"
Reportedly the team is putting together a workout for Dion Waiters on Monday to gauge the free agent's "preparedness to contribute to a championship contender," says ESPN.
However, the team is also not rushing to slot in a new star right away in case they need to "react should an injury occur."
