LeBron James’ First Children’s Book Set for August Publication

Lakers superstar LeBron James' is expanding his I Promise mission with his first children's book coming August 11th.

I Promise is described as "a lively and inspiring picture book that reminds us that tomorrow's success starts with the promise we make to ourselves and our community today."

James is excited for the books release, saying "Books have the ability to teach, inspire and bring people together", adding that it was important that every child could see themselves in the story.

A second book from James, a middle grade novel, will be released in 2021.
