The Dodgers have locked up Max Muncy with a three-year, $26 million deal that will bypass the infielder's arbitration-eligible years.

The deal also includes a $13 million club option for 2023, which would be Muncy's first year of free agency.

The 29-year-old Muncy has hit 35 home runs in each of the last two seasons.

He split time at 1B, 2B, and 3B in 2019 but will likely settle in at first base next season.
