Drinks like egg nog and hot toddies are typically holiday and winter weather go-to cocktails but there's a lot more to choose from during the holiday season. And we've got you covered. From Coquito to Hot Buttered Rum, we've created a list of seven holiday cocktail recipes that will help to warm the soul and bring about holiday cheer.

1. Coquito

A Puerto Rican holiday staple, Coquito is typically gifted during the winter holidays. It's often bottled in a recycled liquor bottle and when attempting to be fancy, a ribbon is sometimes tied around the neck of the bottle.

2. Hot Buttered Rum

Butter in a cocktail is definitely unusual. However, if you're up for this buttery drink that's usually made in bulk, it's perfect after coming in from shoveling snow or a day of snowboarding or skiing.

3. Cranberry Margaritas

Cranberry juice tends to be a staple for mixed drinks but it's also a go-to for festive holiday cocktails. You can never go wrong with a margarita, so why not have a cranberry margarita during the holidays.

4. Baby, It's Cold Outside

Concocted of Bailey's, Grand Marnier, and Disaronno, Baby, It's Cold Outside is a creamy cocktail that doesn't need any garnish. Similar tasting to a chocolate martini, this drink is made to warm you up.

5. Harry Potter Butterbeer

Harry Potter Butterbeer is wizard approved for all of you Harry Potter fans. It apparently, smells like "liquid Christmas," so it's also perfect for holiday time.

6. Kremas

Kremas is a creamy Haitian holiday staple. Similar to coquito, it contains coconut cream, condensed milk, and rum. It's also usually bottled in a recycled liquor bottle and gifted to loved ones.

7. Red Lotus

This red-hued drink is perfect for vodka lovers. Made with lychee liqueur and cranberry juice, the Red Lotus cocktail is a simple twist on cranberry juice and vodka.
