Tyreek Hill Signs 3-Year Contract Extension

The Chiefs have locked up receiver Tyreek Hill with a 3-year, $54 million contract extension with $35 million in guaranteed money.

Chiefs GM Brett Veach acknowledged the controversy surrounding the star wideout, saying Hill "understands our expectations of him as a member of this team" and that the extension is "contingent upon the conditions Tyreek agreed to adhere to".

During the offseason, Hill was investigated after his fiancee accused him of injuring their 3-year-old son. He was also heard telling his fiancee "You better be terrified of me" in a recorded conversation. Hill was not charged and the league did not suspend him.
