Survey: Boston-area sports fans among most despised in the nation

Study: Boston Sports Fans are the Most Hated in the US
When it comes to sports, Bostonians are among the most loyal and supportive fans in the nation. But they're also the most despised.
A study conducted by Insight Pest Solutions reveals Boston-area sports fans are the most hated by fans in every major sport, including football, baseball, basketball and hockey. The survey notes Boston is "the only city whose fans pulled that off."
On the flip side, Arizona fans are the most liked in three sports: football, hockey and baseball -- although they share MLB honors with fans of the Colorado Rockies, who tied Diamondbacks fans in the "most liked" category. The city with the most-liked NBA fans is Minnesota, the study reveals.
