Baker Mayfield Drags Giants For Drafting Daniel Jones
Baker Mayfield has proven that he's not afraid to speak his mind - even when it comes to criticizing another team's draft.
The Browns QB recently took a shot at the Giants' controversial decision to take Duke QB Daniel Jones with the 6th overall pick, saying it "blows my mind".
In a new GQ profile, Mayfield said he "cannot believe" the Giants drafted Jones, saying "That's where people go wrong. They forget you've gotta win..."
Asked about Baker's comments, Jones took the high road, telling reporters Mayfield is "a great player". Giants coach Pat Shurmur said Mayfield is "in a long line of people that criticized that move".
