Jimmy Garoppolo returned to the gridiron on Monday night in his first game since tearing his ACL during Week 3 last season. Unfortunately, things didn't go well.
Despite the win over the Broncos, the 49ers quarterback went 1-for-6 with no yards and one interception, earning a passer rating of 0.0.
Following the poor performance, coach Kyle Shanahan didn't seem too worried, saying, "He's had a year off football, and before that he only played about eight games total. The more he can play, the better."
"Obviously a little frustrated," admitted Garoppolo, adding, "But it is what it is. It's preseason right now, so we just have to take it in stride."
