Josh Gordon Officially Reinstated, Joins Patriots Roster

Josh Gordon is getting yet another chance at an NFL career.

The troubled wide receiver, who has missed nearly four seasons to drug-related suspensions, was officially reinstated on Sunday and joined the Patriots' 90-man roster.

Gordon was placed on the NFI (Non-Football Injury) list, which means he can attend meetings and work out at the Pats' facility, but is not allowed to practice or play in preseason games. He can be activated at any time before the season.

Last year, Gordon caught 40 passes for 720 yards in 11 games after coming to New England in a trade, but missed the playoffs after he was suspended indefinitely in December.
