Former Lehigh Sr. High School Employee arrested

A former paraprofessional at Lehigh Sr. High School was arrested Monday morning.

Jamie Marissa Hill, 51 is facing charges for lewd and lascivious behavior on a student.

Hill was released on $5,000 cash bond on August 13, 2019; 24 hours after being arrested.

According to NBC2, Hill resigned in June. The arrest report has not been realeased.

The Lee County School District made the following statement about Hill's arrest:

"Jamie Hill is no longer an employee of the district. When allegations were brought forward, the district immediately engaged the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and DCF in the investigation and turned our findings over to them. The safety and security of our students is our highest priority."

Hill is scheduled for trial on September 16, 2019.
