$500K worth of items stolen from A-Rod’s rental car in San Francisco

Alex Rodriguez Robbed of more than $500k
As most cops will tell you, rental cars are targets for thieves -- so never leave valuables in them. Apparently, this point managed to get by former Yankee Alex Rodriguez, whose rented SUV was robbed of more than a half-million dollars worth of possessions Sunday night.
The incident occurred in San Francisco while A-Rod was dining with a group of people. When he returned to the vehicle just before 11 p.m., he discovered it had been broken into and a number of his things were missing, according to a police report. Among the items taken were a camera, a laptop, jewelry and a bag, according to police.
The San Francisco P.D. says the incident is "under investigation." Meanwhile, A-Rod hasn't said a thing about the crime.
