Will DeRozan Get A Max Extension?

The Spurs have held off on offering a max contract extension to DeMar DeRozan. But that doesn't mean it won't happen.

According to reports, the Spurs are still mulling a max offer for DeRozan and "want to keep him around".

There has also been speculation that the team doesn't see DeRozan as a max players and will use him as trade bait instead.

DeRozan came to the Spurs in last year's Kawhi Leonard trade that ended with Kawhi winning Finals MVP while the Spurs were bounced in the first round.
