Carson Wentz: Preseason Is "Never Needed"

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz sees little use for NFL preseason games.

Wentz told reporters that preseason games are "helpful, but I don't think it's a necessity", adding that he'll be "confident in Week One" regardless.

Last season, Wentz missed all of the preseason while rehabbing a knee injury. The Eagles play their first preseason game this Thursday vs. the Titans.
