Cowboys Reportedly Made ‘Generous’ Contract Offers to Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper
Report: Cowboys 'Frustrated' Over Contract Negotiations
The Cowboys are trying to hammer out contract extensions for three of their biggest stars - but the team is reportedly having a difficult time getting them to sign on the dotted line.
According to ESPN's Todd Archer, the Cowboys have made "top-five" contract offers to QB Dak Prescott, WR Amari Cooper, and RB Ezekiel Elliott, who is holding out of training camp and says he won't play without a new deal.
Archer says the team is "frustrated" that negotiations aren't going better. Team CEO Stephen Jones thinks it's unlikely that all three deals can be completed before the end of training camp.
