Braves Give Bullpen A Boost At The Deadline
The Atlanta Braves were one of the biggest players at Wednesday's MLB trade deadline, adding multiple relievers and a backup catcher.
The biggest acquisition was Tigers closer Shane Greene, who has 22 saves and a 1.18 ERA this season. The team also acquired righthander Mark Melancon from the Giants and traded for the Rangers' Chris Martin earlier this week.
The Braves also added catcher John Ryan Murphy from the Diamondbacks.
