A.J. Green's Ankle Injury Could Cost Him 4 Weeks

Cincinnati WR A.J. Green could miss up anywhere from four up to eight weeks due to torn ligaments in his left ankle, according to ESPN. Green will reportedly miss the season opener against Seattle on September 8th.

Green got his injury during the very first practice at Bengal's training camp at Dayton's Welcome Stadium. Conditions of the field were considered subpar but Cincy cleared the field for practice during the NFL's 100th-anniversary celebration. The remaining practices will be in Cincinnati.

Bengals WR Tyler Boyd called the field's conditions "terrible" but HC Zac Taylor isn't blaming Green's busted ankle on the field's conditions.
