Tomlin Gets Steelers Extension

HC Mike Tomlin will stay in Pittsburgh at least through 2021. Tomlin signed a one-year extension with Pittsburgh and is preparing to enter his thirteenth season with the team. He is only the third coach in since 1969, following former coaches Bill Cowher and Chuck Noll.

Tomlin has taken the Steelers to the Super Bowl twice and became the youngest coach to not only enter but to win a Super Bowl when Pittsburgh defeated Arizona in Super Bowl XLIII. His total record is 125-66-1 in twelve seasons.
