Pete Alonso just got a million dollars richer after winning Monday night's slugfest in Cleveland at the Home Run Derby.

The Mets first baseman joins a rare club, becoming just the third rookie to win the Derby, behind Aaron Judge of the Yankees and Wally Joyner of the Angels.

The prize nearly doubles his $555,000 salary, with five percent going to the Wounded Warrior Project and another five percent to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr made history as well, knocking out 91 dingers, but couldn't outlast Alonso in the final round.
