Even a $5 ticket sale earlier this season failed to sell out Tropicana Field. The solution? Drop ticket prices all the way down to two bucks. On Thursday, the team launched a flash sale offering tickets to an upcoming Rays-Orioles series for just two bucks each, along with $2 sodas and peanuts at the park. The Rays' ticket sales problem has gotten so bad that the team recently floated the idea of playing half the season in Montreal.
