Another day, another iPhone bug to report.

This time, the bug takes aim at the messaging app.

According to Business Insider, the bug is called "The Black Dot Bug" because the text has a black circle emoji in the text.

It's the most noticeable part of the text, right before your messenger app crashes.

Immediately upon opening the text, many users reported their screen went completely white.

These iPhone owners also reported that shutting their iPhone off didn't right the issue.

But there's good news. The bug only crashes your messaging app. The rest of your apps should continue to run and operate without interruption, albeit your phone may seem slower.

And yes, there's even more good news. If you receive this text and your messaging app crashes, you can force close the app, open it again with 3D Touch, and press "new message."

This should resolve the issue. Once this happens, go back to your messages and without opening the message that crashed your app, delete it.
