The afternoon drive window features concludes with veteran ESPN Radio host Freddie Coleman moving to 6-7 p.m. alongside Harry Douglas.
- Coleman:Freddie D. Coleman is the co-host of ESPN Radio’s afternoon drive show from 3-7 p.m. ET alongside Harry Douglas. Prior to that, he co-hosted Freddie and Fitzsimmons, alongside Ian Fitzsimmons (2016-23). He also hosted the Freddie Coleman Show, weeknights from 11 p.m. – 2 a.m. ET and Sundays from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. Coleman joined ESPN Radio in June 2004, as a co-host of the then-nightly, prime-time program GameNight until 2013. Coleman has also hosted NFL on ESPN Radio and makes appearances on ESPN’s First Take.
Prior to joining ESPN Radio, Coleman was a weekday afternoon co-host on FoxSportsRadio 980-AM in Albany, N.Y. (September 2002-June 2004).
Previously, Coleman worked for Cablevision of Dutchess County as a sportscaster for the local news in Wappingers Falls, NY., and as a co-host of the weekly SportsScene show, as well as an analyst for Marist Basketball (March 1999-September 2000).
Coleman also managed the on-air staff and created promotions at Oldies 97 – WCZX- FM (March 1999-May 2000) and was the overnight host at WPDH-FM 101.5 (May 1998-March 1999).
Coleman is a 1987 graduate of Mansfield University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication.
- Douglas:Ten-year NFL veteran Harry Douglas joined ESPN in 2019 and is a contributor across ESPN studio shows for all sports and digital football shows including co-hosting Countdown to College GameDay.
In addition to his studio and digital show responsibilities, Douglas is the co-host of ESPN Radio’s afternoon drive show from 3-7 p.m. ET alongside Freddie Coleman, and has been a mainstay across the radio network in various roles. Most recently, he co-hosted the midday show from 12-3 p.m. (since Jan. 2023). He also contributes to ESPN’s XFL game coverage as a field analyst.
Douglas was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2008 NFL Draft as a third-round pick after a standout career as a wide receiver at the University of Louisville, where he was an All-American and inducted into the 2021 Louisville Athletics Hall of Fame. He played for the Falcons for seven seasons and went on to play another three seasons with the Tennessee Titans. He finished his career with 310 receptions for 3,759 yards (12.1 avg.) and 10 touchdowns in 118 career games.
Douglas was selected as one of six 2022 Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellows for the Atlanta Falcons. He is the co-founder of The Douglas Brothers Foundation, Inc., which aims to support youth and families through hunger relief, wellness, career development, financial literacy and more.
Douglas has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Louisville.
