The NFL announced a 17th regular season game for the 2021 season. We get some great matchups, but also get some clunkers as well. I’ve ranked all 16 matchup in order of watchability so you can prioritise the games to watch. I’ve also given you a score prediction.

• 16. Detroit Lions v. Denver Broncos

  Sorry Broncos fans. This has very little to do with you, and everything to do with expectations in Detroit this season. Dan Campbell's guys may be biting knee caps, but they won't be watchable this season. Prediction: Broncos 28, Lions 17

• 15. Atlanta Falcons v. Jacksonville Jaguars

  Maybe Trevor Lawrence shows up in Jacksonville and wows the world. Maybe the Falcons figure out how to hold on to a lead. Maybe... but not likely. There might be points scored, but the game won't mean anything other than draft position. Prediction: Falcons 27, Jaguars 21

• 14. Philadelphia Eagles v. New York Jets

  Just yuck. There will be more action in the stands during this game with two of the angriest fan bases in the league in the arena at the same time. On the field though, not much to see here. Eagles 24, Jets 17
• 13. Carolina Panthers v Houston Texans

  Share

  We'll call the the "Deshaun Watson Bowl." At this point is seems like Watson will be back with the Texans for the 2021 season, but if he does get traded Carolina seems like the place he'll end up. Prediction: Panthers 24, Texans 21

• 12. Minnesota Vikings v Los Angeles Chargers

  Not a bad matchup... but not a headliner either. Watch the game for Kirk Cousins to manage the game, and Justin Herbert to let it fly. Prediction: Chargers 34, Vikings 28

• 11. San Francisco 49ers v. Cincinnati Bengals

  I expect the bengals to take the next step this offseason. i also expect the 49ers to return to form that brought them to the Super Bowl a few seasons ago. Tough draw for the Bengals to get the 49ers here though. Prediction: 49ers 35, Bengals 24
• 10. New York Giants v Miami Dolphins

  The Giants and Dolphins were both playing week 17 games last year that if they had won, would have punched their ticket to the playoffs. Both lost. One of the teams will take that leap into the postseason this year. Prediction: Dolphins 27, Giants 21

• 9. New Orleans Saints v Tennessee Titans

  Jameis Winston vs. Ryan Tannehill... anyone juiced for this showdown? Outside of the QB position, both offenses are loaded with talent, but which QB will make the plays to win the game? Prediction: Titans 31, Saints 27

• 8. Chicago Bears v Las Vegas Raiders

  The Khalil Mack Bowl. The Raiders offense against the Bears defense is can't miss television. the other matchup, Bears offense v. Raiders defense, leaves much to be desired though. Prediction: Bears 24, Raiders 23
• 7. Seattle Seahawks v Pittsburgh Steelers

  This could be higher if I were more certain about the Steelers in 2021. Middle of the road matchup for me. Prediction: Seahawks 27, Steelers 21

• 6. Los Angeles Rams v. Baltimore Ravens

  I am very excited to see Matthew Stafford work with one of the best offensive minds in the game. Also excited to see the jump Lamar Jackson makes from year 3 to year 4. Prediction: Rams 34, Ravens 27

• 5. Buffalo Bills v Washington Football Team

  Ryan Fitzpatrick v. Josh Allen! There is nothing better in the NFL than when 2 gunslingers get together. That's what we've got here. Prediction: Bills 28, Football Team 21
• 4. Arizona Cardinals v. Cleveland Browns

  Two teams that are on the come up. Last year the Browns took the leap into legit playoff contender. Kyler murray is can't miss, so any time he's on I AM WATCHING! Prediction: Browns 31, Cardinals 27

• 3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers v. Indianapolis Colts

  The Bucs might be favorite in every game next season. This is one that they might not. Carson Wentz reuniting with Frank Reich could bring the former #2 overall pick back to the MVP form he showed in 2017. Prediction: Colts 24, Buccaneers 23

• 2. Dallas Cowboys v New England Patriots

  It's the team America used to hate vs. the team America currently hates. With Dak being back under center for the Boys this year and the Pats giving Cam some weapons to throw to, this should be an entertaining game with lots of points. Prediction: Cowboys 31, Patriots 27
• 1. Green Bay Packers v Kansas City Chiefs

  Go ahead an pencil this in for one of the Sunday Night Football games. Sooo many story lines here; Rogeres v. Mahomes, Rematch of Super Bowl 1, League MVP's facing off, so on and so forth. This will be a spectacular game. Prediction: Chiefs 28, Packers 27
