We’re hitting that time of year when bye weeks sneak up on you. Here are some guys who have a decent outlook for the rest of the season, and a few names to get you through this weekend if the bye bug bit you this week. Preston Williams and Gardner Minshew have favorable matchups over the next month.

• Gardner Minshew II, QB JAX

  Minshew is one of 3 quarterbacks to register 16 or more points in every game this season (Mahomes and Murray are the others). If you whiffed on a QB like Baker Mayfield, Minshew Mania is a nice replacement. He has a favorable upcoming schedule with the Saints, Bengals, Jets and Texans over the next month.

• Auden Tate, WR CIN

  Tate is seeing volume; he has at least 6 targets in 3 straight games. Pair that with John Ross and AJ Green sidelined with injuries, and Tate has some real value moving forward if you're in need of WR

• Mohamed Sanu, WR ATL

  Atlanta's defense is bad... really bad. This is forcing Matt Ryan to throw the ball more than any other quarterback in NFL history (on pace for 710 attempts), meaning there is more than enough to go around in Atlanta. Sanu has scored double digit fantasy points in 4 out of 5 games this season. He's a guy who could help if you get hit hard by bye weeks.
• Jon Hilliman, RB NYG

  This is only if you are desperate this week. Saquon Barkley and Wayne Gallman will not play Thursday night against the Patriots, and Hilliman is the only healthy RB on the roster. If you need a running back this week, Hilliman will at least get plenty of opportunities, but it will be against the best defense in the NFL.

• Preston Williams, WR MIA

  I present to you the leading wide receiver of the Miami Dolphins. Since Josh Rosen has taken over, Williams has seen almost 30 percent of the teams targets. The schedule softens for the Fins starting this week with the Redskins, Steelers and Jets 3 of the next 4 weeks.

• Gerald Everett, TE LAR

  Everett is trending upwards; he has 12 catches for 180 yards and touchdown over the last two games. Granted, Goff has thrown the ball over 100 times over the last 2 games, but Everett is seeing more time on the field for passing downs than fellow tight end Tyler Higbee.
