New Oklahoma Sooners QB Likely To Score Big NIL Money – Because of His Name
The University of Oklahoma Sooners have received a quarterback commit that happens that he has the best name in college football. He received offers from New Mexico, Presbyterian, Liberty, Yale, Nicholls State, McNeese State and Louisiana-Monroe, and one from the school he selected – Oklahoma. He’s the nephew of former NFL qbs John David Booty and Josh Booty. He also played his senior year of high school at Allen High School in Texas, where Kyler Murray went. His name?

My inner 12 year old was so excited to write this article.
His dad Abram, who was a wideout at LSU, gave him the name “General”. He certainly had to know that the name “General Booty” was going to attract attention. What his dad could not have predicted, was that his son would enter college right into the cash free-for-all know as NIL.
It may be a joke, but hey – it might not be. American Eagle has already reached out.

Jordan Addison is reportedly getting more than 3 million to go to USC, so the money is out there. General Booty has showed some skill in the high school level but has yet to be tested in college with the Oklahoma Sooners. Will he be amazing? We don’t know. Will he score a NIL deal just because of his name? That is likely.
