The 2024-2025 NBA season is almost here and I'm celebrating by drawing every NBA team logo by memory. The only catch? I can't draw.

There's lots of hype behind return of professional basketball. It feels like it's been a long time since we saw the Boston Celtics celebrate their NBA Championship. Since then, we've had some Olympic Basketball help get us by and now the return of the NBA is just around the corner. How did I do drawing every NBA team logo by memory?

How did I do? It was a tough one! It's hard to put the pen to paper. I swear, I can see all of the logos perfectly in my head but when it comes time to take them from my head and onto paper that's where the mistakes happen. While I definitely didn't nail it, I think I can still hold my head up high. The Chicago Bulls logo seems to be getting the most attention. It's hard to draw animals looking forward! I have no idea how to do it and struggle with it every time. It's the same thing with the Dallas Mavericks. Animals are tough to draw. Well, everything is tough to draw, I suppose.

If you liked that, there's a lot more where it came from. Recently, I kicked off the NFL season by drawing every NFL team logo by memory. Then, I did the same thing with the start of the NHL season. Of course, with the MLB playoffs going on I had to try drawing every MLB team logo by memory. I've been spending a lot of time drawing lately, as I'm sure you can tell. However, my skills don't seem to be improving. However, I guess that's all part of the fun. These videos have been a lot of fun to make and have been doing quite well online. The NFL drawings video has more than 8.5 million views on Instagram Reels. That's crazy! I never thought that would happen. Stay tuned for more! I'll be rolling out some college logos and more in the coming weeks!

Hopefully, eventually my skills will finally improve and I can make a name for myself in the world of art instead of being the butt of the joke. No, just kidding. It's all in good fun and I have no desire to become an artist or improve my skillset. I think making people laugh is what I'm after and doing that is enough for me.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
