Metallica Donates $350K to COVID-19 Efforts

Metallica has joined other artists and celebrities in donating to efforts to fight the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The band announced they donated $350,000 to a variety of different charities and organizations. In a statement, they said, "In the wake of the spread of the Coronavirus, the most vulnerable people in our communities need help now more than ever. All Within My Hands is reaching out with four grants totaling $350,000 to organizations dedicated to assisting those hit hard by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

The four organizations receiving money from All Within My Hands include Feeding America ($100,000), Direct Relief ($100,00), Crew Nation ($100,000) and the United States Bartenders Guild's National Charity Foundation ($50,000.)
