Why are we talking about aliens? Well, one day after the anniversary of the first moon landing, it happens to be Invite an Alien to Live with You Day. The day actually comes the celebration of the old Robin Williams show More and Mindy. In that show, Williams plays an alien who lives with a woman named Mindy, played by Pam Dawber. The show was one of many spin-offs from Happy Days. During M&M's four year run the show averaged 55-60 million people who watched it each week. Happy Days producer Garry Marshall's eight year old son had just seen Star Wars and suggested he add a spaceman to Happy Days. This, Mork was born and the spinoff soon followed.
Naturally, you might think we will do Mork and Mindy trivia for Invite an Alien to Live with you Day. However, we think we will have more success with our audience if we do E.T. trivia instead. What do you think?
Let's do E.T. trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia today on the Shemon and Sheppard Show on ESPN Southwest Florida. We play Wiki-Pete-ia everyday at 4:45ish for prizes.
