Universal Orlando Announces Mardi Gras Concert Lineup

Mardi Gras is a very exciting time! If you don’t want to travel to New Orleans, good news, there’s some Mardi Gras celebrations just a few hours from home. Universal Orlando has a celebration that’s a few months long and with it comes some concerts you won’t want to miss.

Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando Resort runs February 4th-April 16th. This year’s theme for the parade is “”Mythical Realms of Mardi Gras”. You’ll see performers, catch a ton of beads and the floats will draw inspiration from creatures like dragons, phoenixes and unicorns.

There will be great food offerings with global flavors from New Orleans to Brazil to Belgium and beyond. Over 50 tasting-size items like a crawfish boil, beignets, shrimp ceviche tostadas, a mofongo flight and more.

The party will continue after the parks close as well. Pat O’Brien’s at City Walk will host a Mardi Gras After Party that includes live entertainment and exclusive food and drink offerings. The Red Coconut Club will transform for the Mardi Gras season into the Cursed Coconut Club too. Each of Universal’s hotels will have Mardi Gras offerings as well. And the perks of staying on property include early park admission and complimentary transportation to the parks.

Let’s also not forget about the amazing entertainment they have lined up.

If you’ve never been to Mardi Gras at Universal, you’re in for a treat. I went for the first time a few years ago and it was an amazing experience. I can’t wait to go back!
