The 2022 Forbes Travel Guide Star Award Winners listed two Naples hotels as the most outstanding  in the world. I've been to both of these hotels and can confirm, they are absolutely amazing. When I stayed at the Ritz Golf Resort in Naples I took pictures of the bathroom and then remodeled my bathroom at home with the same vibe. It's just that nice. I've been told I'm weird for doing that. Don't care. They also have really good golf there. And the pretzels at the outside restaurant are the best I've ever had. We did a broadcast there back in February for the Chubb Classic.

According to a new report, not just the Ritz, but two of Naples hotels rank among the best in the world. The Forbes rankings published on Tuesday, April 26 and include the best hotels and restaurants. Here's the interesting thing about that. The Inn announced the sale just 4 days before the list came out.

I'd have to think that making the Forbes list could add a few mill to the price. Maybe someone knew something?

Forbes Travel Guide said the results were gathered after traveling around the world. Both of the Naples properties that made the list were rated at 4 stars. Here they are:

Inn on Fifth and Club Level Suites

What Forbes says: Striking furnishings in subtle grays, blacks and creams with a streak of red throughout lend a streamlined appearance to the décor. And, generally speaking, the property has a genuine feeling of seclusion despite its lavish locale.

The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort

What Forbes says:  A 2016 redesign changed up the rooms and Club Lounge to a softer palette of warm and neutral tones, creating a spacious and cozy vibe. The Club Lounge’s offerings were also upgraded to include sumptuous food-and-beverage-focused events such as culinary showcases and artisanal beer, rum and champagne tastings.

So if these are 4 star - what's a 5 star hotel look like?

Miami has 5 - 5 star hotels on the Forbes list and they are jaw dropping:

St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort

The Setai, Miami Beach

Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club

Faena Hotel Miami Beach

Acqualina Resort and Residences on the Beach
