These Are The Dirtiest Cities In Florida

dirtiest cities

The folks at Lawnstarter created a list of the dirtiest cities in America. Out of the 152 cities on the list, 9 of them are in Florida. Houston, Texas came in at number one.  In their study, Lawnstarter compared the cities across 4 categories. Pollution, Living Conditions, Infrastructure And Consumer Satisfaction. 9 Florida cities made the list out of 152 cities across the U.S., however only 2 of them were in the top 20. No surprise, they're on the state's East Coast. Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale were the dirtiest cities in Florida, ranked at #18 and #20 in this study. Easy to believe.

If you've ever walked down a sidewalk in those places, the landscaping is filled with litter. For instance, back in December, we were walking down Collins Avenue on South Beach. The bushes along the sidewalk were just filled with trash. A complete mess. After that, you think South Beach is glamorous?

Above all, we try to respect our beaches here in Florida. Unfortunately we can’t always guarantee that the tourists do the same.

Is your city on this list? Southwest Florida is not on here. Below are the 9 cities that made the list! However, some on this list I am shocked by. Above all I didn’t think Hollywood St. Pete would be on here.
