It’s now been confirmed that “NFL Schedule Leaks” was just some bored dude who slapped an NFL logo onto a made up account and just started tweeting out random scheduled games. And he had 10,000 followers within a few days.

By adding additional info, he made the leaks seem very believable

  • Like this one

    NFL Week 5;

    Ravens @ Saints, 1PM EST, CBS

    No bye for the Saints off their London return. 4 out of the first 5 games for the Ravens are on the road. Tough draw for them this year.

  • It's all in the details

    Some may say the network doesn’t determine which games to protect in advance; this is not true. Sometimes, that information isn’t made public until later in the season. This is accurate. https://t.co/0JpHCdFAqH

  • and the commentary

    Back to back primetime home games for the Buccaneers as well (Week 7 TNF against the Packers). NFL really seems to be milking the Tom Brady retirement tour.

  • Until today, when this tweet went out

    guess who just got 10k followers by literally making up a bunch of NFL games because I was bored and faking out almost the entire football twitter landscape? this guy right here. pic.twitter.com/ZBIUnwbEZF
