Craig Shemon here, with the Shemon and Sheppard Show playing Wiki-Pete-ia every weekday at 4:45-ish on ESPN Southwest Florida! We take a topic that is usually relevant, like the MLB Hall of Fame HOF, and come up with quiz questions in order to stump Pete. (Technically, since Pete is on vacation this week we will use Chris for this competition. Unofficially, we will call it Chris-ipedia!). We pit him against an audience member each day. May the best man or woman win MLB HOF trivia!
In case you are not fortunate enough to be lucky caller number nine at 239-337-ESPN, then you are in luck! Play at home and dazzle your family! Stump your co-workers with useless knowledge! Amaze your friends with your newfound intelligence! Below are the actual questions AND ANSWERS heard during Wiki-Pete-ia on our show.
With the recent inductions into MLB's HOF fraternity, let's take a look at the HOF, past and present, with Wiki-Pete-ia. Mind you, Chris was a little apprehensive about this topic. If you are not part of an older generation that grew up with baseball, I can see how this topic would be a bit intimidating. However, I think Chris surprised himself and the audience with how well he did. Now it's your turn. Let's do this!
