
It’s that time of the week again. Shemon and Sheppard Wednesday Wisdom Fun Facts for 11/9 at 5:30pm. Most of you know by now that this is one of our most fun segments of the week. I try to find the most amusing and entertaining fun facts that you will enjoy. They are not all family friendly at times I will admit but for the most part it’s fun for all ages.

1996 – Evander Holyfield beat Mike Tyson thanks to an 11th-round technical knockout in their heavyweight title fight.
2006 – “Pandemonium in Piscataway” – Rutgers stages a 2nd half comeback to upset No. 3 Louisville 28-25 to improve to 9-0 on the season. Rutgers running back Ray Rice had 22 rushes for 131 yards in the victory, which sparked a field-storming by the Scarlet Knights fans.
2002 – “Bluegrass Miracle”: LSU beats Kentucky 33-30 on the road thanks to a last-second Hail Mary. Kentucky had taken a 30-27 lead with 11 seconds left in the 4th quarter before the final 75-yard pass for the Tigers.
2007- Two Chinese big men meet in the NBA for the first time. Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets emerge triumphant, defeating Yi Jianlian and the Milwaukee Bucks, 104-88. An estimated 150-250 million Chinese fans watch the live television broadcast.
