It’s time for the latest NFL rankings.  We thought week one of the NFL regular season was crazy and filled with non-stop thrills.  Then week two arrived and said, “Hold my beer!”

Just when people in southwest Florida were beginning to debate whether it was time to move on from Tua, the Dolphins QB stepped up with a career-high six touchdown passes to overcome a 21-point deficit against the Ravens.

Also under consideration for our NFL rankings , Cardinals QB Kyler Murray scrambled a total of 84 yards for more than twenty seconds …on a two point conversion!

The Bucs and Saints were tied 3-3 in the fourth quarter before Mike Evans got in a fight…again, and Jameis Winston started throwing interceptions…again, as Tampa found a way to win.

How about Cooper Rush leading the Cowboys to an improbable win over the Super Bowl runner up Bengals?

Or can anyone explain why the Colts continually get worse when they play in Jacksonville?

Week two also saw Jimmy G. back in the spotlight in San Francisco after Trey Lance’s horrible injury and the Bills look unbeatable.

So with all of that in mind, let’s put it all together and produce our updated week two NFL rankings!

  • 32. NEW YORK JETS

    Jets

Let’s pat the Jets on the back for a job well done.

  • 31. CAROLINA PANTHERS

    Panthers

Tough loss to the Giants.  Nothing more to say.

  • 30. HOUSTON TEXANS

    Waiver Wire Targets Rex Burkhead

Same category as the Falcons.  Lack talent but not effort.

  • 29. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

    Jaguars

This team absolutely owns the Colts in J-ville.  It’s early but they have their eye on the division title.  Still a lot of work to do.  Why not?

  • 28. ATLANTA FALCONS

    Falcons

Team lacks talent but they are scrappy.  Beat the spread vs the Rams.

  • 27. PITTSBURGH STEELERS

    Steelers

Offense scored 13 points in regulation vs. the Bengals in week one.  Offense scored 14 points vs. the Patriots in week two.  Serious problems on this side of the ball.  It won’t be long before Kenny Pickett chants begin!

  • 26. CHICAGO BEARS

    Bears

Yep.  Aaron Rodgers still owns them.

  • 25. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

    Colts

This team drops the farthest in this week’s poll.  The bottom fell out in Jacksonville…again!

  • 24. CLEVELAND BROWNS

    Browns

Nine more games until DeShaun Watson

  • 23. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

    Seahawks

Thought they’d hang for a half vs the 49ers.  But Jimmy G happened.

  • 22. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

    Commanders

Washington could not get anything going against the mighty Detroit Lions.  But I told you that would happen.

  • 21. TENNESSEE TITANS

    Titans

I know the Bills are really good but I expected a slightly better effort Monday night.

  • 20. DALLAS COWBOYS

New York Giants v Dallas Cowboys

Cooper Rush!!  Did not think he would come in and play as well as he did.

  • 19. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

    Patriots

A win is a win.  Even if it was against the lowly Steelers.

  • 18. DENVER BRONCOS

    Broncos

Russell Wilson’s and Nathaniel Hackett will get on the same page.  At least they beat the Texans.

  • 17. NEW YORK GIANTS

    Giants

The G-men are 2-0!  Are they for real?  A strong running game helps!

  • 16. DETROIT LIONS

    Lions

Jared Goff is leading the second highest scoring offense in the NFL.  Let that sink in.

  • 15. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

    Raiders

One of the most gut wrenching losses in team history.  Oh, wait.  The Immaculate Reception.  The Tuck.  Oh, never mind.  Just a random loss to the Cards.

  • 14. ARIZONA CARDINALS

    Cardinals

Is it strange to think Kyler Murray earned all of his 260 million dollars on that 2-point conversion against the Raiders?

  • 13. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

    Saints

Jameis Winston went toe to toe with Tom Brady for 3 quarters.  Then there was a fight.  Then he starting throwing picks.  Bucs win.

  • 12. MINNESOTA VIKINGS

    Vikings

Kirk just can’t do it in primetime.

  • 11. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

trey Lance NFL Quarterbacks under the most pressure in 2022

It sounds horrible to say but I will say it.  The ugly Trey Lance injury probably helps the 49ers in the short term.  It’s Jimmy G. time.

  • 10. GREEN BAY PACKERS

    Packers

Aaron still owns the Bears.  Nice bounce back game after a horrible loss to the Vikings in week one.

  • 9. CINCINNATI BENGALS

joe burrow super bowl LVI press day

Something is fundamentally wrong with this team.  I think the o-line will come together eventually.  But Joe Burrow is getting killed.

  • 8. BALTIMORE RAVENS

    Lamar Jackson

Did they let off the gas against Miami?  How about some safety help over the top?

  • 7. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

NFC Wild Card Playoffs - Philadelphia Eagles v Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A very ugly win against the Saints.  But a win is a win.  BTW, no Julio Jones contribution….again.

  • 6. MIAMI DOLPHINS

Down 21 to the Ravens, Tua was en Fuego on his way to 6 TD passes.  Speed kills.

  • 5. LOS ANGELES RAMS

    Matt Stafford

Again, let’s credit them for getting their first win but they struggled to put the Falcons away at home with a few extra days rest.

  • 4. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

    Eagles

(Photo by Mitchell Leff/Getty Images)                                                           I might have to re-evaluate my criticism of Jalen Hurts.  He’s getting pretty good.

  • 3. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

    Justin Herbert

No shame in a 3 point road loss to KC.  Justin Herbert played hurt and still amazed everyone.

  • 2. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

    KC Chiefs

Breaking News:  Patrick Mahomes must be good.  No Tyreek Hill, still no problem.

  • 1. BUFFALO BILLS

Josh Allen Fantasy Football QB Rankings by Tier

It’s possible their only weakness is punting.  I’ll let you know for sure when I actually see them punt.

The Price of Beer at Every NFL Stadium

The 2022 NFL Season is upon us and it’s time to plan those game day trips. And beer is part of that budget. Maybe you plan to catch a game at an out of town stadium? Maybe I’m in Estero and every NFL stadium is out of town for me? That’s actually a lot more true. How much is an Uber round trip to Tampa?

So what about grabbing a beer at an out of town ballpark? Por que no los dos? But how much is it? Every year, sports business data firm Team Marketing Report releases its NFL Fan Cost Index and what they found, the price of beer varies greatly across the stadiums. Statista has really good data on this, too.  And the price of a beer seems to be totally unrelated to how good the team is. A beer at a Jaguars game is double what they charge in Cincinnati at a Bengals game.. They could charge more. The Dolphins charge $11 which is why I show up drunk.

Maybe a lower priced option should be available? The Washington Commanders have no business charging for beer at all. They should make beer free to anyone willing to buy a ticket. And the beer should be brought to me. With peanuts. Enough with the conjecture. Let’s analyze the price of beer at each of the NFL stadiums. Keep in mind that inflation is running pretty hot and I’m writing this on August 4th. They may raise the prices even more.

Pretty simple, team name, price for a small draft beer (or smallest and cheapest beer available), fun picture.
