Florida's Paradise Coast Makes List Of Best Spring Break Destinations
Living in SWFL definitely has its perks. One of the best, to me, is the endless summer. Sure, we have our chilly days, but yesterday it was 86 here, but only 8 degrees in Chicago where I'm from. Let's just say, since I arrived in the Sunshine State nearly 5 years ago, I've never looked back.
I love that we live in a place that other people come on vacation. Of course, living in a place that is known for its beautiful landscapes, vibrant culture and exciting activities can be both a blessing and a curse. But let's focus on the positives. We have constant access to beautiful surroundings. A short drive will take you to the water, not to mention a daily supply of breathtaking sunsets. We also, in SWFL, have a wide range of activities and events year-round. And living in a popular tourist destination comes with a level of prestige. We can take pride in knowing that we call such a beautiful place home and share it with visitors all over the world.
While Fort Myers Beach has been a very popular Spring Break destination, obviously this year after Hurricane Ian, it will look a little different. However, an area just to the south made The Points Guy's list of the Best Spring Break Destinations for 2023.
Whether you're a college student looking for a party, a family looking for something kid-friendly or a solo traveler, there's something on the list for everyone. So, grab your passport and pack your bags and get ready for your next adventure!
