Sunday is the day set aside to recognize and honor the moms in your life. The ways to do this are limitless. They can be elaborate and luxurious with things like spa days, diamonds and fancy dinners.

On the flip side, you can keep your celebration simple and still make it meaningful and thoughtful. Those are the kind of ideas you'll find here. For the most part.

All moms are different. But one thing they all seem to have in common is that they love their kids and love spending time with them. Especially if they are grown. Sometimes the gift of time is the best gift of all. It's something we never seem to have enough of.

You don't have to give a gift that is over the top. Just show up. Give mom a hug. Sit and have a conversation with her. Share a bottle of wine. And if she isn't close by, pick up the phone or schedule a video chat.

If you are lucky enough to have your mom with you, don't let the moment pass. Life is short. It is fragile.

Stanley Cups are all the rage right now. I love how she turns this into a vase for a gorgeous arrangement. You could do this with any kind coffee mug. Perhaps a stemless wine glass too. Lots of things could work.

I'm not sure about a second hand wood cutting board. But if you're on a budget and want to splurge on the heat stamp, this is a great idea. There are lots of places that have in expensive new boards as well. Either way, this is a cool idea. Maybe line the board with some treats, and share it with mom. Spending time together is the best gift.

This is something mom can display and keep forever. It also gets the kids involved. And is less messy than having them make breakfast for Mother's Day.

There are lots of great store bought cards. They are getting more and more expensive. Consider making your own. Even if you are not artsy, this lady makes it look fairly easy to pull off. It doesn't have to be perfect but it will be a keeper.
