This is an old faithful. Blow up a bunch of balloons to become a bunch of grapes. Word of caution, be thoughtful in what you wear underneath. People will inevitably pop those balloons as the night goes on.
Optical Illusions
You see these often and they always make people stop and look. Even if you know how it is made, you can't help but stare and try to figure it out. This takes a little more time but it turns out great and is still affordable.
Corona Virus
This one was hot years ago but it still makes a fun costume or inspiration for something similar. Plus, I love the way this guy gets into it in his video.
Make Up Tip
This is a cool way to get straight lines on your face. Even if you don't try to create a spider web like this one, it is a great tip for other designs.
Fast Family Fix
This could not get any easier. If you have kids and are on a budget, check this one out. The entire family could pick a different Ninja and cover the whole group of the famous cartoon turtles.
