Pete Sheppard’s REAL College Football Top-10

Finally! The College Football Playoff committee is FINALLY on the same page (the right one) as Pete Sheppard. The top-4 is spot on, but they didn’t get everything in the top-10 right. The Florida Gators continue to get disrespected by the CFP Committee. My money is they take it out on a very average Virginia team in the Orange Bowl. Anyway… here are the top-10 teams in college football at the end of the regular season.

• 10. Wisconsin (10-3) Bowl Game: Rose Bowl v. Oregon

  Covered vs Ohio State... But not in the class of the teams ahead of them.

• 9. Auburn (9-3) Bowl Game: Outback Bowl v. Minnesota

  A 3 loss team in the final top 10? You're damn right they are! 3 tough losses to Florida, Georgia and LSU... And they beat Alabama.

• 8. Baylor (11-2) Bowl Game: Rose Bowl v. Georgia

  Played the Oklahoma tough. But it says here they would have lost to Florida, Auburn and Georgia if they played.
• 7. Florida (10-2) Bowl Game: Orange Bowl v. Virginia

  Great year for the Gators. One of the main reasons why you have to expand the college football playoff... They can and could have competed with all of these teams.

• 6. Oregon (11-2) Bowl Game: Rose Bowl v. Wisconsin

  I said last Friday take Oregon and the over against a very good but very overrated Utah team. You can send me the 10 percent cut of your winnings.

• 5. Georgia (11-2) Bowl Game: Sugar Bowl v. Baylor

• 4. Oklahoma (12-1) Bowl Game: Peach Bowl v. LSU

  Won the Big 12, didn't cover vs Baylor. It's such a shame that the CFP isn't 6 or 8 teams... I still feel like Georgia, Florida and Auburn are all better than the Sooners.

• 3. Clemson (13-0) Bowl game: Fiesta Bowl v. Ohio St.

  Same old same old... Wiped out a very average Virginia in the ACC Championship Game. Still not sure how great this team is. They are probably going to beat Ohio State in the CFP.

• 2. Ohio St (13-0) Bowl Game: Fiesta Bowl v. Clemson

  Didn't look great early vs Wisconsin... came on late, and didn't cover... They will have their hands full against Clemson in the CFP.
• 1. LSU (13-0) Bowl Game: Peach Bowl v. Oklahoma
