10. Penn State (5-0)
ShareClobbered Purdue last week, now they take to the road to face a very ticked off Iowa team after their loss at Michigan on Saturday. Be careful here Nittany Lions. This one could come right down to the wire.
9. Boise State (5-0)
ShareBlasted UNLV to remain undefeated at 5-0. They welcome the surprising Hawaii Rainbow Warriors to the Smurf Turf on Saturday night...Lots of points but the Broncos get it done and the "new America's Team" continues to impress. Bronco-Nation is not going away folks!
8. Wisconsin (5-0)
ShareHome this week against Michigan State then on the road vs. Illinois before having to travel to Ohio State for their biggest test of the year...I don't do cheesy cheese jokes but Ohio State looks like a "munster" of a game ????????
7. Clemson (5-0)
ShareEscaped with a 21-20 win in their last game on the road vs NC... Now the Tigers will be home and very very angry. I feel badly for Florida State as they are about to suffer their worst loss of the season. This will be ugly early and often as the Tigers try to prove to me why they belong back in the CFP discussion.
6. Oklahoma (5-0)
ShareTo only beat Kansas by 25 was disappointing. Now in the "Cry me a Red River" game or something about a "shootout in a red river". I can't keep up with all these little nicknames for the games, but Oklahoma and Texas will battle at the Cotton Bowl. Look for lots of points and a Sooners win.
5. Florida (6-0)
ShareAn awesome win in The Swamp against Auburn. Now Dan Mullen and the Gators have their biggest test of the year as they take on LSU in Baton Rouge...Gators an early 13.5 underdog and they feel disrespected... Disrespect is me being set up every day at 4:45pm to lose at Wiki-Pete-ia!
4. Georgia (5-0)
ShareA bit of a slow start against the pathetic Tennessee Vols but they still won by 4+ TD's. They'll keep it rolling this week at South Carolina.
3. Alabama (5-0)
ShareOn the road this week at Texas A&M. Thought this might be a tougher game a few weeks ago but the Aggies haven't lived up to their pre-season hype. Can Jimbo and his Aggies keep it close and cover? We shall see...
2. Ohio State (6-0)
ShareThis team just looks like the real deal. After winning and covering yet another big line vs Michigan State, they have the week off before heading on the road to face Northwestern. But, this is the part of the season where they Buckeyes choke every year in games like this. Lets see if they can buck the trend...
1. LSU (5-0)
ShareYes, my pick to win the national championship is alive and well. The Tigers blasted the Utah State Aggies on Saturday. Now the Tigers, in what will be the game of the year thus far, host the Florida Gators! This should be a classic. Remember, Tiger Stadium is serving alcohol now during the game...It's going to be NUTS!
