Georgia continues to prove Craig Shemon, and all the other doubters, wrong. They are firmly in Pete Sheppard’s Top-4, and a few more quality performances will propel them into the College Football Playoff’s top-4. Big weekend in the Big 10 this weekend with Penn State traveling to Columbus.
10. Utah (9-1) Next Week: @ Arizona
ShareJust not an impressive resume but I have seen this team enough to know that they are tough and talented, just not sure they would beat anyone ahead of them. They obliterated UCLA. How the Utes lost to USC back in week 4 is beyond me...Since they lost to the Trojans their average margin of victory has been exactly 29 points... Impressive.
9. Penn State (9-1) Next Week: @ Ohio State
ShareGot tested by Craig's Indiana Hoosiers but talent won out in the end. If they can upset the Buckeyes this week on the road, my chaos theory will be in full swing!
8. Florida (9-2) Next Week: Bye
ShareGators won and covered on the road in Missouri. They will have this week off before ending the season by beating Florida State.
7. Oklahoma (9-1) Next Week: TCU
ShareGreat comeback win on the road vs. Baylor... Sooners host TCU next. Total points in this one might exceed 100, and I'm not joking!
6. Oregon (9-1) Next Week: @ Arizona State
ShareTough team, seem to be getting better and better. Outside of Auburn though, not a lot there but they won big and covered again vs Arizona. They will keep it going against Herm Edwards and Arizona State on Saturday night.
5. Alabama (9-1) Next Week: Western Carolina
ShareAwful what happened to Tua. Bama will roll this week at home vs West Carolina in their annual late season creampuff game. But, consider this Bama fans: If Penn State upsets Ohio State on Saturday and everyone else ranked ahead wins. My top 4 will be LSU, Georgia, Clemson and Alabama.
4. Clemson (11-0) Next Week: Bye
ShareI say it every week, I don't really know how good this team is because they have played nobody special. However, they stay in my top 4 because they win big and cover as they did against Wake Forest last week. They have the week off before heading to South Carolina on the 30th... They could fall out of my top 4 next week if some other teams are victorious.
3. Georgia (9-1) Next Week: Texas A&M
ShareThe Bulldogs continue to defy Craig's arrogance! They win another tough road game vs 12th ranked Auburn. Dawgs will take another bite out of the Aggies when they host Texas A/M on Saturday.
2. Ohio State (10-0) Next Week: Penn State
ShareBuckeyes only beat Rutgers by 35. Not good enough. Lucky I didn't drop your sorry butts to 3. Host a tough Penn State team on Saturday... RED ALERT RED ALERT Buckeyes!
1. LSU (11-0) Next Week: Arkansas
ShareA little sloppy, especially on defense for my taste coming off an emotional win at Alabama, but they still won by 3 touchdowns at Ole Miss. They will get back on track Saturday night at home against Arkansas where they will put up 70 and give up less than 20... Book it!
