For the last couple of months I have featured something unique, and local, from Southwest Florida farmer's markets. The vendors have all been food related...until now. While produce and food items are the foundation of these markets, they are not the only things you can find. So this week's Fabulous Find is Fort Myers Farmer's Market handmade jewelry from Heart to Hand Studio.
All of the jewelry at Heart to Hand is made by Lisa Festo-Estrada. She has been making jewelry for some 25 years. While her style has changed over the years, there is one line that has remained constant. It's called "Find Your Wings" and it is near and dear to Lisa's heart. The necklaces on display currently all have a single silver angel's wing. In addition, they have various crystals and stones along with inspirational sayings and they are great pieces.
About the handmade jewelry
She makes literally dozens of needed necklaces and bracelets in a variety of sizes. The colors and combinations constantly rotate so if you see something you like, best to buy it. It might not be there next time you see her. Lisa makes hundreds of these bracelets a week. Buy one for yourself and another to give to a friend. That is what I did yesterday. In fact, I started to think ahead when it comes to birthdays and special occasions. It never hurts to have extras on hand when you are caught needing a gift last minute. The pieces are unique and you have the satisfaction of supporting a local artist and entrepreneur.
Here are a few photos of the Fort Myers Farmer's Market handmade jewelry by Lisa. Out of respect for her artistry, I did not take pictures of a few of her signature items. That includes the"Find Your Wings" line. You'll have to find her to see and purchase those! Check out Lisa's Facebook page here.
