EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival Is In Full Bloom

EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival

Moana is the welcoming theme to the Flower and Garden Festival. In fact, there is a new water experience opening at EPCOT this year, inspired by Moana. It sounds super cool too.

It's that time of year again. EPCOT's International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom, literally and figuratively. This festival is a favorite spring into summer event for Southwest Florida residents headed to the Orlando theme park. EPCOT is transformed through topiary and flowers. It is beautiful.

Topiaries are carefully clipped and shaped into some of the most popular Disney characters and animals. The attention to detail is impressive. This was my first time attending this festival, however, it wont be my last. How beautiful. There is something to discover in every corner of the park. The creativity of the Disney team is always impressive. They execute these gardenscapes flawlessly.

In addition to the visual experience,  there is a fragrance garden. It smells good and is educational. Each plant is labeled with all kinds of information.  Also, flower carts are sprinkled throughout the displays. They are manned with cast members handing out seeds for the various plants you see. Give your green thumb a go with these seedlings when you return home.

Finally, there are food and drinks created for the festival. Find the  sweet and savory treats at Kiosks. They are located in the various countries that make up EPCOT's World Showcase. There is also a Festival Passport. Purchase one and it will guide you through the stops. Fill out five locations on the card and you get a free treat.
