Week 2 is in the books, and I am starting to get a clearer picture on the NFL. Here they are ranked from 33-1… yes, 33.
33. Miami Dolphins (0-2, L 43-0 vs. New England)
ShareThis is getting comical. who will the Dolphins trade away next?
32. Clemson
ShareCouldn't resist... but seriously; it would be a good game vs. Miami
31. Cincinnati Bengals (0-2, L 41-17 vs. SF)
ShareIs there a less interesting team in the league?
30. Arizona Cardinals (0-1-1, L 23-17 @ BAL)
ShareKyler Murray throws a pretty ball. Let's see if this team can put it together for 4 quarters and get a W.
29. New York Giants (0-2, L 28-14 vs. NYG)
ShareLet the Daniel Jones era begin!
29. Denver Broncos (0-2, L 16-14 vs. CHI))
ShareWhat is this team's identity? Joe Flacco is the perfect embodiment of the Broncos
27. Washington Redskins(0-2; L 31-21 vs. DAL)
ShareFeels like the team is reeling at 0-2
26. Oakland Raiders (1-1; L 28-10 vs. KC)
ShareKC exposed some weaknesses in their explosive 3rd quarter. Going to be an up and down season for the Silver & Black
25. Carolina Panthers (0-2; L 20-14 vs. TB)
ShareThey are 1-9 in their last 10 games dating back to last year. Cam Newton is not healthy.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-2; L 28-26 vs. SEA)
ShareBig Ben is done for the year. Let's see what Mason Rudolph can do. The Fitzpatrick move is interesting.
23. Minnesota Vikings (1-1; L 21-16 @ GB)
ShareWelp... we thought they were good after their Falcons beat down in week 1. Let's see what Vikings team shows up next week against the Raiders at home.
22. Los Angeles Chargers (1-1; L 13-10 @ DET)
ShareThat was an ugly loss to Detroit on Sunday. If the Colts had a kicker, the Chargers would be 0-2.
21. Tennessee Titans (1-1; L 19-17 vs. IND)
ShareTough loss at home to the Colts... and their field caught on fire
20. Green Bay Packers (2-0; W 21-16 vs. MIN)
ShareNot sure if Rodgers and LeFleur are on the same page yet, but the defense has been one of the best in the league so far.
19. Detroit Lions (1-0-1; W 13-10 vs. LAC)
Shareundefeated? technically. Still a lot of work to do under Matt Patricia.
18. New Orleans Saints (1-1; L 27-9 @ LAR)
ShareHow will this team look without Drew Brees for the next 6 weeks? Let's see what Teddy Bridgewater can do with a full week of prep as the starter.
17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1; W 20-14 @ CAR)
ShareSolid road win and defensive performance at Carolina. Should get some momentum going up against a rookie QB this weekend.
16. New York Jets (0-2; L 23-3 vs. CLE)
ShareDown to their 3rd string quarterback. not going to draw any conclusions until Sam Darnold comes back.
15. Buffalo Bills (2-0; W 28-14 @ NYG)
ShareThey won the New York State Championship! On top of that, they have the best QB in the state. But seriously, the defense is legit.
14. Chicago Bears (1-1; W 16-14 @ DEN)
ShareThere is a formula here; play great defense and lean on a reliable kicker... they have both now.
13. San Francisco 49ers (2-0; W 41-17 @ CIN)
ShareThis looks like it will be a good defense, and Jimmy G showed some good signs in week 2
12. Cleveland Browns (1-1; W 23-3 @ NYJ)
ShareLooks like they won't have to compete with Pittsburgh for the division, so now it comes down to the Brown and the Ravens.
11. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2; L 14-13 @ HOU)
ShareBad coaching already cost this team a road win, now it looks like it will cost them their best player
10. Houston Texans (1-1; W 14-13 vs. JAX)
Sharei'll keep them in the top-10 for now. Would like to see them close out an opponent.
9. Indianapolis Colts (1-1; W 19-17 @ TEN)
ShareThis team should probably be 2-0. It is time we realize this team was more than just Andrew Luck. They are a very talented roster.
8. Philadelphia Eagles (1-1; L 24-20 @ ATL)
ShareTough loss in Atlanta Sunday night. Could have won that game. hopefully the WR's get healthy sooner rather than later.
7. Atlanta Falcons (1-1; W 24-20 vs. PHI)
ShareNice bounce back win at home against the Eagles. Not sure about this team long term, but for now they are firmly in the top-10
6. Seattle Seahawks (2-0; W 28-26 @ PIT)
ShareGood quality win going cross country and winning in Pittsburgh.
5. Baltimore Ravens (2-0; W 23-17 vs. ARI)
ShareLamar Jackson is looking good! Granted it's been against the 2 of the worst teams in the league.
4. Los Angeles Rams (2-0; W 27-9 vs. NO)
ShareImpressive win over the Saints, even without Brees for most of the game. Todd Gurley seems to be healthy. Hopefully we can say the same at the end of the season.
3. Dallas Cowboys (2-0; W 31-21 @ WAS)
ShareOffensive Coordinator Kellen Moore has started his NFL play calling career in an impressive manner. Let's see how they do against Miami... that was a joke.
2. New England Patriots (2-0; W 43-0 @ MIA)
Share2-0 and have won by a combined 76-3. Pats fans will be watching their team deep into January... again.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0; W 28-10 @ OAK)
ShareThis team can explode at any moment and put up points when they want. Their offense is the best unit in the NFL.
