Community Comes Together to Benefit Tunnel to Towers
NAPLES, Florida (May 5th, 2022) – The vendors of Creekside Corners on Immokalee Road are teaming up, May20th, 2022 from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm, to host the first annual First Responders Fest right in their front yard. With a free live performance from Ben Allen Band and a portion of proceeds benefiting The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, this is an event you will not want to miss.“ First Responders Fest is a labor of love. As both a local business owner and wife of a Collier County sheriff officer, I thought it was time that we honor all of our local first responders in a big way,” said Simple Beauty Studio and Medical Spa Owner Kiley Burd. The primary foundation we are honoring at this year’s event is Tunnel to Towers. A wonderful foundation that helps take care of wounded first responders and military as well as young families that are left behind in the wake of their death. We also plan to donate a percentage of the proceeds to a local charity, Fallen Officers. By supporting both, we feel we are able to spread the love Collier County has for all first responders even further. This event is free to the public. All businesses are giving a percentage of sales to the foundation that night and offering special pricing on all services, food and beverages for first responders. (Kiley Burd)In addition to its charitable contributions, fun is guaranteed! There will be a color guard presentation and a singing of the national anthem, music from Dj’s Harm in addition to a live performance from Ben Allen Band at7:00 pm! By donating throughout the night, you will get the chance to win one of numerous raffle items that holdover $1,500 in value. Attendees can receive 5 free raffle tickets by choosing to stay safe and take an Uber or Lyft to the event. There will be food tents in addition to a special edition “First Responders” Brew created by Bone Hook Brewery. Our kid friendly event will also have face painting, balloon animals and a photo booth! The First Responders Fest will be a charitable, lively and fun event that welcomes everyone! We hope to spread awareness throughout SWFL and beyond.
