When you think of places to eat, there are so many places to pick from, some well known and some more under the radar, and 3 Florida restaurants have made TripAdvisor's list of the best hidden gems.
Just here in Southwest Florida, there are so many incredible restaurants. In each city I have my favorites, some very popular and some I mention that many friends haven't ever tried, or sometimes have ever even heard of. I always like trying new places, but of course, as we all do, you find yourself returning to some of the same places time after time. Like Chicago Pizza. My family and I go about once a month on a Tuesday for half price pizza, we love it. I do, though, always like finding hidden gems, not only locally but when I'm traveling. And there are 3 Florida restaurants that have made TripAdvisor's list of best hidden gems.
3 Florida Restaurants Make TripAdvisor's List Of Best Hidden Gems
We always see lists of the best restaurants whether they're organized by type of cuisine (best steak, best Mexican, best Italian, etc) or by locale, but in this case TripAdvisor put together a list of the best hidden gems. The best of the best awards are determined based on the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings.
In Florida, here's where they rank:
#1: That's Amore- Miami Beach. That's Amore specializes in pizza and pasta and is located at 620 Ocean Drive
#6: Square Grouper Bar and Grill- Cudjoe Key. This restaurant, located in the lower Keys, is the spot for fresh seafood and well known for their smoked fish dip and conch chowder.
#7: Casa Benedetto's- St. Augustine. This restaurant is a hidden gem in a strip mall and serves authentic Sicilian cuisine.
