Do you want some football for Milton Fatigue? Southwest Florida is physically and mentally worn out from the arrival of Hurricane Milton this past week. Some people are relieved to be able to move on while others will have a long year of recovery ahead of them.

Either way a mental diversion is needed for all and for some football this weekend may provide that needed mental break.

FOOTBALL FOR MILTON FATIGUE

Here is our guide for Football for Milton Fatigue! Let's begin with college football. Long before we knew Hurricane Milton was coming we already had this weekend circled as a great college football weekend. First of all we have a top 3 Big Ten matchup with #2 Ohio State at #3Oregon. These teams are so good they may meet again in the Big Ten Championship game and AGAIN in the college football playoffs.

In the SEC, yes the SEC, former Big 12 foes #1 Texas faces #18 Oklahoma in the Red RIver Rivalry. Sticking with the SEC, #9 Ole Miss is at #13 LSU. We expect the over to hit on this.

In the NFL the Jags and Bears kick off Sunday early with a 9:30 am ET start in London. We think the Cardinals are a live road dog against the Packers. The Browns and Eagles may be the car wreck you cannot look away from. The Commanders and Ravens is going to feature a great quarterback battle. The Lions and Cowboys have unfinished business from last season and the Bengals are in a must-win situation vs the Giants. And finally, Monday night features an AFC East battle where the Bills face the Jets as the Jets debut a brand new mid-season head coach.
